De Amerikaanse jazztrompetist Theo Croker komt voor het eerst naar De Roma. Croker's muzikale reis is niets minder dan opmerkelijk geweest. Na een zeven jaar durend avontuur in Shanghai crashte hij de muziekscene met zijn zinderende originele sound, die te horen was op het bejubelde album Afro Physicist uit 2014 met de ongeevenaarde Dee Dee Bridgewater. Het succes van zijn volgende releases, Escape Velocity in 2016 en Star People Nation in 2019, stuwde hem naar nieuwe hoogten en leverde hem een nominatie op voor "Best Contemporary Instrumental Album" tijdens de 62e Grammy Awards.

that was impressive music, which i haven't heard for a long time. thank you very much for a very nice time and nice inspiration. i heard your concert for the first time last june in hamburg. just great, i had 6 friends there. Everything was also very happy. we will see each other again soon in Hamburg. M.S
