Biographie de Mobday
Mobday is a hard rock/metal band from Binghamton, NY, founded in December 2005 by guitarist Jordan Greene.
Releasing two full length albums, an acoustic EP and various singles, the current lineup consists of Joe Cafferty (vocals) who replaced long time vocalist Ryan Nickerson in 2020, Jordan Greene (guitar), Rory Smith (guitar), Josh Thornton (bass) and Ty Gleason (drums).
Mobday played numerous shows in their local area during their development and decided to finally put some songs to tape with their debut album The Beginning: Part II (2011) followed by Vertigo (2014). Both albums put the band's love of melody and dissonance on display and were well received by fans. The material from The Beginning and Vertigo was played live heavily until the band stepped away from performing together in 2016. In 2018, Mobday reunited and fully exposed their melodic side with the release of their acoustic EP, Imperial Woods.
After the hiatus and a few shows to get their live chops back together, Mobday moved forward with vocalist Joe Cafferty and began developing their self-titled album that was released in September 2022. The album will bring a much heavier sound than previous releases and was completely self-produced by the band while being mixed & mastered by bassist Josh Thornton. The Mobday (2022) album will also feature the singles "Change" (2020), "Clarity" (2021) & "Need" (2021).
