Biographie de Kate and Corey
Kate and Corey are Soulful Roots-Rock singer/songwriters from Atlanta, GA with soaring harmonies and tight-rope-walking musicianship. Their blissful, passionate sound is leaving audiences all over the southeast feeling more connected: to the music and to each other.
Pursuing music full time since 2011 has taken the songsmiths on some amazing journeys. Starting with hungry afternoons playing on the streets of Buffalo, NY, leading all the way to the stage of the famous Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. They were one of 5 finalists out of many thousands in the 2013 Country Showdown, shown on national television and hosted by Jewel. It's also given them the opportunity to play at Dollywood this Spring for their Flower & Food Festival!
Most recently, Kate and Corey have been traveling all over the country to play corporate events, festivals, weddings, store openings and private parties. They play all your favorite songs from a wide range of genres, along with their own songs, seamlessly arranged in a powerful, harmonic way. With only two guitars and two powerful vocals, they’re the perfect 2-man-band.
They've also joined forces with Folk-Rock Trio, Highbeams, to form the band Run Katie Run. The Roots-Rock band is releasing their first E.P. on April 16, 2021 and have been reviewed by Glide Magazine, American Songwriter, and Americana Highways.
Kate and Corey have 2 true loves and they've dedicated their lives to both: music and each other.
