Blockage

Formed in Los Angeles in 1998 and respawned in New York City in 2024, their bi-coastal sound feels like an evolution of the golden Lookout! Records era. Their sound was forged in L.A.’s underground and honed through years of tearing through just about every dive bar and venue in Southern California, often sharing bills with the punk icons that inspired them.

Their songs come out swinging, balancing biting social commentary with the everyday sloppiness of being human. Too melodic for hardcore purists and too raw for the mainstream, Blockage carves out a dark, catchy strain of punk-pop with a voice all their own.
