Destin Laurel is a 20 year old artist, producer and songwriter out of East Atlanta. A unique
combination of raw talent, wholesome values, and a deeply personal signature style at the
intersection of Alternative R&B and Hip-Hop: Destin is a badly needed breath of fresh air.
Writing, producing, and recording from his humble bedroom studio, he infuses the resourcefulness of the Bandlab generation with a wisdom and cool confidence well beyond his
years that even the strictest Golden Era R&B purists can appreciate. He also shows off his
creativity and vision by producing and directing his own music videos. Throughout his catalog he draws inspiration from Tyler the Creator and Kanye West while exploring themes of family,
religion, and young love - tastefully synthesizing the feel of gospel and neo-soul with the sounds of the moment from Jersey Club to Sexy Drill to Mk.gee.
