Midlake is an indie rock band from Denton, Texas, known for their rich harmonies, cinematic storytelling, and folk-infused sound. Formed in 1999, the band initially explored jazz and experimental rock before embracing a warm, nostalgic folk-rock style. Their breakthrough came with The Trials of Van Occupanther (2006), featuring the beloved track Roscoe.
