Overflow Brewing Company welcomes back two longtime friends and musical collaborators for a night of indie-folk storytelling and unforgettable live music. Headliner Daniel James McFadyen returns fresh off the release of Landmine, the first single from his highly anticipated 2025 album. Known for his captivating stage presence and award-winning songwriting, McFadyen continues to push the boundaries of folk with a raw, Americana-inspired sound that has won over fans across Canada.
Joining him is special guest Riley Burns, a rising Ottawa-based folk-country artist whose deeply personal songs are filled with lived-in charm and lyrical honesty. Burns’ music stems from real moments—songwriting sessions in old shared houses, late nights with friends, and quiet reflections on love and change.
The two artists share a history that goes back many years, including a standout performance at Overflow Brewing Co. on June 16th, 2022. Don’t miss this powerful reunion on Thursday, September 4th, 2025.

Biographie de Riley Burns
Canadian born singer/songwriter Riley Burns has a unique take on how the world works. Growing up just outside of Ottawa, Ontario Riley first fell into music by picking up his dad's old guitar. Riley writes from a place of experience. He uses songwriting as a way to channel his thoughts, emotions and stories into songs that are relatable. Come Kill some time with me.
