Formed by ex-members of some of Chicago’s biggest names, this band brings a high energy show to every city they play! Starlight City plays everything from Top 40’s, to hits of the 80’s, 90’s, and MORE.
Fronted by stage veterans Kate Brassel & Dave Marvel, this Dynamic Duo captivate audiences with vocal prowess, range of music, and a show to remember. Backed by the strength of one of Chicago’s best bands featuring Steve Sefton’s screaming guitar/keys, Drew Harris’ funk driven bass/vox, and the one and only Brian Leppert on drums, there is nothing this band can’t do!
Starlight City brings a wide array of pop & rock providing the ultimate party, ranging in music from Lady Gaga, Gwen Stefani, Miranda Lambert and Dua Lipa, all the way to Bruno Mars, The Killers, Backstreet Boys, Sir Elton John, Panic! At The Disco, and more!

Starlight City is Chicago's premier new live music experience that brings a dazzling mix of pop and dance music combined with the powerful energy of a modern rock show to stages around the Midwest!
Unique in its ability to perform just about any style of music, this band features a dynamic combination of male and female lead vocals provided by Dave Marvel and Virginia Ramey. Steve Sefton delivers an impressive display of lead guitar and keyboards/synth, all backed up by one of the best rhythm sections around with bassist Drew Harris and drummer Brian Leppert.
Whether it's the latest and greatest from today's Top 40 and Spotify's Most Listened/Most Streamed or nostalgic classics from the 90s, 2000s, and teens, you're bound to hear a mix of tunes that provides the perfect party playlist or the ideal soundtrack to your night out.
The band brings a signature EDM/DJ-inspired flair to their live sets, with the uncanny ability to mashup and remix hit songs into thematic musical journeys that will take you from KISS FM to B96 to The MIX to Q101!
