Biographie de Rayne

Hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia, pop recording artist and songwriter Rayne, recently released her intensely catchy, second single “The Low” through Anthem Entertainment. “The Low” was one of Yangaroo’s most downloaded songs on DMDS upon release and features multi-platinum producer Milli Beatz, who is signed to Timbaland’s Bluestone Records. He is known for his production on Bryson Tiller’s Platinum single “Sorry Not Sorry” as well as his cuts with Migos, 2 Chainz, Pusha T and more. "The Low” displays Rayne’s powerhouse vocals coupled by killer beats that are impossible not to move to.

At just 18, Rayne has already proven to be an incredible songwriter with multiple cuts and the youngest artist in attendance at The Songwriters Association of Canada camp this past March.

Rayne is already a veteran performer with multiple marquee gigs on the CV, including her performances last summer opening for Billie Eilish, Tyler Shaw, and appearances at The Calgary Stampede, Rockin’ River Fest, Surrey Canada Day and The Sun Peaks Summer Festival.

On her forthcoming debut EP, musical heavyweights including songwriter Tavish Crowe (Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe”) and producer Emery Taylor (Kiesza, Willa, R3hab x Vini Vici) appear as collaborators on this new collection of songs.

“This is pop music, quite big sounding, and I feel like I’ve been able to capture teen angst in a way that’s palatable to other generations,” Rayne says on the EP, citing wildly diverse artists like Florence Welch, Billie Eilish, and Panic! At the Disco’s Brendon Urie as kindred music spirits. You can expect to see new music coming your way later this year and the new EP to drop early 2021.
