Line up: - Mix'Elle - Mais Baixo - Protodub About the artists: Mix'Elle: Michelle Borja found her musical calling early, gravitating towards vinyl in childhood and diving into techno and drum & bass at university. With a style defying labels, she's made waves nationally and internationally, collaborating with top collectives like EQ 50 and Rinse FM. Mais Baixo: A collective of DJs, producers, editors at Rádio Oxigénio and enthusiasts of the soundsystem scene in Lisbon. From classic UKG and Dubstep to the pulsating rhythms of the futuristic Drum n’ Bass, the sessions with Mais Baixo Soundsystem and the group’s appearances are marked by dark environments, full of breaks and tons of continuous sub-bass frequencies. Protodub: The latest artistic persona of French DJ, sound engineer, and curator Vincent Vidal, emerges from a rich background in Berlin's sonic landscape. With nine years of experience spanning spatial audio, PA engineering, and live mixing, Vincent brings his expertise to Lisbon, where he now resides. As co-founder of Studio dB Berlin and curator of Subwise Session and SDBX podcast series, Protodub delves into the evolution of DUB music, from roots reggae to jungle beats, showcasing the deepest realms of heavy bass music. For the Subwise session on May 25th, LB will be the flagbearer of Mais Baixo with his vinyl bag loaded with heavy weight beats.
