Pilot Waves

Pilot Waves is an eclectic five-piece experimental pop band from Sacramento, California. Their songs traverse the territory of multiple genres including kraut rock, freak folk, progressive rock and jazz. Rich with esoteric symbolism while also being accessible and tongue-in-teach, their music explores themes of existential dread in the face of late-capitalism, a burning tenderness for humanity, and a yearning to merge with the divine.
