Seminal Australian favourites, The Church, will be hitting the road for their Already Yesterday tour which will see them perform in theatres across the country. Music lovers have been under their spell since their debut album in 1981. The November / December tour will treat fans with a selection of songs from the band's first four albums - 'Of Skins & Heart', 'The Blurred Crusade', 'Séance', and 'Heyday'. Collectively, these albums spawned some of the bands biggest hits including 'The Unguarded Moment' and 'Almost With You' & 'Electric Lash' which have become staples on radio playlists globally. .

I loved how the band mixed older music with the newer.
Steve Kilbey showed he has a great sense of humor introducing the serious music from the new album. His band performed at a high level of excellence.
I last saw the Church in 1988 and was thrilled that I got to see them again.
Variety Playhouse is one of the best venues in town and it seems more serious music lovers attend shows there than other venues in town.
I highly recommend THE HYMNOGUE, the newest album by the Church.

JULY 10, 2023 (Melbourne, AU) – “Not in my wildest dreams did I expect all the love that has been thrown at this record by the audiences and the critics,” says STEVE KILBEY, the bassist, vocalist and founder of seminal psych-guitar masters THE CHURCH. Beaming over the overwhelmingly positive reaction to their 26th album The Hypnogogue, Kilbey and the band have announced a second leg to their North American tour in support of that album. “I’m excited to play a whole bunch of new places and take this incredible version of The Church to wherever folks want to hear us.”
