Rick Trainor's music, mixes and parties are a homage to something greater than the sum of their parts by doing exactly what he wants when he wants with passion and no hesitation, Rick has created a trusted, expansive, and highly-regarded reputation. And he's been doing just that since the age of 15, when he started working at a record pool in Boston after school every day and vowed to play to a crowd as much as possible ever since. His encyclopedic knowledge for music's rich and expansive history has given him the unique knack of working perfectly with any environment, and taking influences from everything from reggae to techno to hone his sound.

Having worked with the likes of Vince Staples, Santigold, Switch, Soul Clap, Prince Club, and more - Rick's seen his original releases on record labels Big Beat, Hypercolour, Bromance, Play It Down and Soul Clap Records among others. He's released official remixes for Janet Jackson, Dua Lipa, Club Cheval, Travis Scott, Spank Rock, Matthew Herbert and more. He's also played alongside globally-recognized artists such as Green Velvet, Todd Edwards, Benji B, Amtrac, Jamie Jones, Lee Foss, Lauren Lane, Juan Maclean, Nadastrom, Doorly, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Maxxi Soundsystem, Brillstein, Jesse Rose, Tom Trago, Phil Weeks, Jacques Renault and DJ Pierre (just to name a few) and has also played established events like The BPM Festival, A Club Called Rhonda and on Annie Mac's stage at Lovebox Festival. He's also one of Los Angeles' most well-known and highly-regarded DJs, having been hired by Diana Ross, Prince, Kate Hudson, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matthew McConaughey, The Academy Awards, Cameron Diaz, Madonna, the list goes on.
