Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, Kofla ventured into the world of Tech House in early 2017, drawing influence from both Caribbean tropical sounds and heavy grooves, infusing a blend of Latin and ancient English pop culture. His penchant for percussion in the majority of his music stems from his early experience playing acoustic drums, sparking a profound interest in incorporating these sounds into his productions. Kofla's growth has been organic, initially fueled by his talent in the studio where he has garnered recognition by signing with prominent labels such as Rawthentic, Happy Techno, Habitat Label, and Material. Additionally, his presence has flourished on stage, delivering electrifying performances at premier venues in Atlanta, Georgia, a city that served as a springboard for his career. Notably, he has graced the decks at District Nightclub, Believe Music Hall, Underground Atlanta, Domaine, The Masquerade, and others. His journey has encompassed sharing the stage with esteemed figures in the electronic scene, including Paco Osuna, Rafa Barrios, Dennis Cruz, Tony Guerra, Pablo Ceballos, Solardo, and many more.
