Arverne is the sound of New York City dreams: a balance of guitar pop and murky shoegaze, engineered to jump-start your imagination. The project of Queens-native Rickey Gonzalez, Arverne has steadily built a devoted global audience since its inception in 2019. His band consists of bassist Brian Collado, guitarist Philip Navarro, and drummer Edgard Cruz, adding a dynamic live element to their nostalgia-tinged tracks. Influenced by acts such as Sunny Day Real Estate, Radiohead, and Slowdive, Arverne devises a unique and captivating sound that appeals to fans of both alternative rock and indie pop.
