Approximate Run Times: Doors - 6:00pm Start - 7:30pm Finish - 11:00pm Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, hailing from Pakistan, is renowned for his mesmerizing vocals, specializing in Qawwali, the spiritual music of Muslim Sufis. He is the nephew of the esteemed Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and the son of Ustad Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan, carrying on the legacy of his grandfather, the legendary Qawwali singer Fateh Ali Khan. Alongside Qawwali, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan showcases his talent in ghazals and various genres of light music. He enjoys widespread acclaim as a playback singer in both Bollywood and Lollywood.

Start time was 7 pm and RFAK came out at 8:30 pm (I am not sure if this is typical but it was a desi performer and a desi crowd that usually shows up late to events anyways so it worked out. Heads up would've been nice for those of us who are chronically on time). It was still a wonderful concert with beautiful Qawwali and RFAK and his son Shazman sang for almost 2 hours straight. Shazman is very talented and I look forward to what he will do going forward.
