All Ages Welcome Doors: 7:30 p.m. Peter Cat Recording Co. was formed in 2010. Imagined as a radio station from the near future or a vinyl from the distant past, their true identity transcends any single genre or classification. The music speaks for itself, and each song lives in its own universe. Having built a loyal fan base worldwide with their critically acclaimed albums, Portrait of a Time and Bismillah, they have performed across multiple continents, with groundbreaking sold-out tours in North America, U.K., Europe, Australia & India. 2024 will see the release of their forthcoming album BETA, a painting of the living and the lived. PCRC is Suryakant Sawhney on vocals and guitars, Karan Singh on drums, Dhruv Bhola on bass and samples, Rohit Gupta on keys and trumpet, and Kartik Sundareshan on guitars and trumpet. Delivery is delayed for this event, tickets will be released 72 hours prior to the show.

Formed in New Delhi around 2010, Peter Cat Recording Co. is a group that’s mutated over time, shedding members and accruing more, always evolving musically with each album: from gypsy jazz to psychedelic cabaret; ballroom waltzes to epic space disco; bossa supernova to uneasy listening.
The story of Peter Cat Recording Co. has unfolded across multiple continents, a cast of creators and perhaps more than anything, an unwavering vision to be that band from India that will challenge just what music from the region can be. In broadening their listener base to North America and Europe, they have presented a canonical reference point to both Indian and international fans alike: there is tremendous value in persistence and not pandering to the expectations of others. In India, not doing so is an unprecedented feat, and a testament to just how much their audience was waiting for that door to open.
