J.W. Faria

Growing up listening to a variety of musical tastes, from: classic country from the 1980’s and 1990’s
such as Merle Haggard, George Strait to 80’s Pop Artists like Prince, Billy Ocean and Hall and Oates. 
Finding Alternative Rock and Grunge in the 90’s with artists like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains
and Red Hot Chili Peppers helped shape his musical textures and sounds.  



J.W. Faria, now based in Nashville, Tennessee has begun to establish himself as one of the newer
artists blending cryptic lyrics and classic country melodies mixing elements of Country, Alternative
and Folk to create his signature sound. 



In 2019, he released two singles, “Less I Have to Lose” and “Lazarus” and two more singles following
in 2020, “Mexico” and “Home to Me.”  Following with “Mexico (Acoustic)” version in 2022. 



J.W. Faria is currently recording his debut album in Nashville, slated for release in 2023.
