It was worth the 550 mile round trip to see Gary Stringer... if you are expecting to see the persona that fronts Reef, you won't.. Gary as a solo artist is totally different, the music is mellow and moving although there will be the odd acoustic Reef song... most are songs from his own repertoire and from his Stringer Bessant and Them Is Me days... perfect and chilled night out... beautiful voice with a beautiful soul.. totally cultivating
