Biographie de Wish You Were Floyd

Wish You Were Floyd is a Scottish tribute band formed in Aberdeen in October 2013, with the goal of bringing Pink Floyd's timeless music to life. The band was born out of an advert placed on a website aiming to unite local musicians, and since then, they have been captivating audiences across Scotland with their faithful renditions of Pink Floyd's biggest hits.

The band’s lineup includes Brian Black on bass guitar, Lawrie Turnball on drums and percussion, Liam Creedon on guitar and lapsteel, Alastair Thomson on saxophone, Laith Samarai on keyboards, and Paul Emerson on lead vocals and guitar. Together, they have mastered recreating the intricate soundscapes and elements that made Pink Floyd one of the most influential rock bands in history, with iconic albums like *The Dark Side of the Moon*, *Wish You Were Here*, *Animals*, and *The Wall* featured prominently in their setlists.

Wish You Were Floyd has earned a reputation for delivering mesmerizing performances that echo Pink Floyd’s signature sound. They have toured extensively throughout Scotland, including performances in Aberdeen, Fife, Moray, and the central belt, continuing to draw in new audiences with their immersive live shows.
