Description du concert
After 7 years of crafting songs and playing shows, VOIDFALL finally completed the recording of our debut album - a 53 minute monolithic slab of Swedish style death metal interspersed with elements of Peaceville three death doom, which was digitally released on 29th July 2023. Having recently received physical copies of the album on CD format, we decided it was time to celebrate this achievement by launching this magnum opus with a show where we will play it in its entirety.Joining us on our release show will be a selection of top tier extreme metal bands :* LORD KAOSOne of Australia’s earliest major black metal bands, formed in 1994, Lord Kaos had generated international acclaim by the time of their seminal debut album Thorns Of Impurity, with founding guitarist Astennu going on to relocate to Norway and join both Dimmu Borgir and Covenant.Reactivated now with Astennu back at the helm, Lord Kaos recently made their successful live return in 2023 as main support to I Am Morbid, and have been hard at work on a powerful new album. Now Lord Kaos are back to play their first full headlining shows with Astennu in over 25 years, with a set that will take in classic tracks from Thorns Of Impurity and a preview of new material from the forth coming album.* HARLOTT - No frills thrash quartet that draws inspiration from old-school decibel-pushers such as Slayer, Testamant, Megadeth. With four full length releases under their belt, Harlott are a force to be reckoned with and always bring an energetic and charismatic performance with every live show.* AUTOMATION - Formed in mid-1996 by Grahame Goode (Neophobia, Infernal Method, Deadspawn, Cryogenic, Kill Razor) and three-quarters of the former Chaotic Realm/Impalduism line-up. Automation left an undeniable mark on the Australian death metal scene via their tight and brutal live performances and two well-received releases, the demo “Misery Guts” and the devastating debut EP “My Gutter Child”, before disbanding in the year 2000. Fast forward 23 years, and Automation is back on the live circuit, flawing punters with quality death metal like it’s 1998.* THE INCANTUS - Finally, stepping from the shadows after years of industry whisper and obscurity, The Incantus is the culmination of a 7-year journey - wielding songs drawn from visceral, lived storm and strife - all of which steeped in Celtic paganism and heritage.Comprised of a roster of well-established Australian metal stoics, the band credo of "Will Forth from Nothing" rings true of perseverance and indomitable will. All to the soundtrack of "Doomed Melodic Death Metal.

Biographie de Harlott

Forged in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia, Harlott are the finest example of the thrash metal genre in recent years. Taking their influence from the 80's bay area thrash scene, and blending it with Teutonic melody and grit, they focus on high energy, up-tempo music with lyrical influences from war, religion, chaos and the human condition. Unrivaled live concerts, an aggressive recognizable sound, clinical musicianship, and a classic 'Aussie' sense of humour have earned Harlott a strong and dedicated fan base, which continues to grow day to day. Harlott's debut release 'Origin' blew audiences away with its unrelenting speed, ferocious sound, and hook driven riffs, and did much to solidify Harlott as an up and coming force to be reckoned with. The 4 piece thrash outfit followed with a national tour, a string of Australian Heavy Metal Festival performances and a handful of support positions, including Germany's ACCEPT and Megadeth's very own DAVE ELLEFSON. Their follow up release 'Proliferation' only proves that the band means business, and could not only match their own fury, but even surpass it. Harlott are hungry for the World, and in October 2015, they crushed Europe with Canada's Annihilator, the first step in what is to be a long and grueling career in total devastation! With big plans for 2016, including work commencing on a third album, numerous Australian shows and other good tidings in the pipeline, it is fast looking to be the biggest year yet for Harlott!! We like our music the same way we like our sex. Start slow, get faster, then get out of your hair in 30 seconds.
