We support the ongoing resistance against colonial violence and theft.——— Buzz & The Pickups continue to bring their three-player antics to local Melbourne band rooms - fusing alternative sympathies with a punk like energy. Awaiting the release of EP2, they are keen for their next stop at everyone’s favourite late night rock and roll watering hole: The Last Chance Rock & Roll Bar! They’ll be joined on the night by some huge supports: Petrashevsky Circle, Derrotonin and Scuff. So expect a night of high energy alternative goodness. Biographie de The Pickups
Founded in 2017 by four friends with a common goal of writing and performing kick-ass, high energy rock and roll; The Pickups have been making waves and gaining momentum in the Central Okanagan music scene.
The Pickups have a sound described anything but typical: Catchy, upbeat original rock songs with blistering guitar leads, a powerhouse rhythm section and layered three-four part vocal harmonies rarely heard in music today.
