Biographie de Sparkle Motion

"One of Ireland's best up-and-coming bands" - Irish Examiner "DD Foley thunders in with the bass so sharp you’ll be in danger of slicing up your eardrums if you play them too loud" - Musician.ie “Deep Sky Objects capture the spirit that eludes those behemoths and teaches them a lesson in how to rock hard, even while maintaining a commercially viable pop sensibility” - Marky Edison “Vigorous and punchy in the best way” - One Great Song "Deep Sky Objects have concocted something that has an abundance of that je ne sais quoi that makes an album worth listening to" - The Offbeat Deep Sky Objects are a three-piece alternative-rock band. The band members include brothers Kevin O'Brien (lead vocals, guitar), Thomas O'Brien (drums and backing vocals) and DD Foley (bass guitar and backing vocals). Deep Sky Objects stemmed from a shared mutual interest in groups such as The Smiths, Interpol and Radiohead. In late 2015 the band began to record a collection of demos, releases under 'We're Done Falling'. With the completion of five tracks the band mixed their material at ‘Sonas Studios’ in Killarney. The tracks were then mastered by Ruairi O’Flaherty in Los Angeles. 'We're Done Falling' went on to physical release in June 2015. Since then Deep Sky Objects have recorded their debut self-titled EP 'Deep Sky Objects' in Whitewell Studios with Ciaran O'Shea. The EP was subsequently mastered by Fergal Davis. 'Deep Sky Objects' received great feedback from fans and reviewers, being played on stations such as Today FM, Spin SW and Cork's 96 FM. Deep Sky Objects continue to tour Ireland and the UK throughout 2017/18. Deep Sky Objects are a three piece alternative rock band from Kerry, Ireland.
