Kris Youmans Band slips in their original western infused songs between Hank Sr. & Lefty Frizzell covers at shows. WINNER 2016 Georgia Country Awards /Traditional Artist!, The band's newest release 'SLIM, TAKE ME DANCING' was nominated in the category of 2015 Country Album of the year through IMEA Front woman Kris Youmans along with pedal steel player Warren "Barefoot Slim" Hall , guitarist Dave Puett, bassist, mandolin, fiddle player Patrick Thompson, drummer Jerry Lee , bassist Stuart Lee, were nominated in Americana category in Ga Music Awards show 2014 , IMEA Awards 2015,Finalist in 2016 Georgia Country Awards in the Traditional Country category. Youmans' voice is remininiscent of Loretta Lynn & Bonnie Raitt & her songwriting is strongly Roots influenced. The Kris Youmans Band country & swing fusion has found a niche among country music fans in the area....
