Jon Bindley of Bindley Hardware Co. is a rust-belt Americana artist from Pittsburgh, PA. Drawing influence from classic country, folk and modern alt-country, as well as from the original Bindley Hardware Co., its namesake hardware store owned and operated Jon’s family during Pittsburgh’s industrial boom in the early 20th century. “To be able to make music or have any kind of creative endeavor that identifies where you’re from is really important. Things in Pittsburgh inspire me every day. The Bindley Hardware Co. has such a rich history and I’m kind of making it my own,” Bindley said. Jon Bindley is the host of Pittsburgh’s Honky-Tonk Jukebox.
