Child Policy: Children under 2 years of age will be admitted free of charge. A baby under 12 months does not require a ticket if they are seated on their caregiver's knee, a toddler between one and two years old will be issued a complimentary ticket. Conductor Ingrid Martin Featuring Dynamotion Prokofiev Peter and the Wolf There's a wolf on the loose Prokofiev's symphonic tale has delighted tamariki for generations, and this special production gives it a kiwi twist! Super-talented comedy dance troupe Dynamotion are back (following the success of 2023's Carnival of the Animals) for another hilarious family friendly retelling of a beloved musical classic! Expect silly costumes, funny characters and Prokofiev's beloved score as Dynamotion and the Auckland Philharmonia bring Peter and the Wolf to life. This is creative storytelling to entertain the whole whanau.

The Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra (APO) is Auckland’s professional symphony orchestra, presenting more than 60 performances annually with a comprehensive season of symphonic work and multi-disciplinary events with contemporary artists.
Through its numerous APO Connecting (education, outreach and community) initiatives, APO offers opportunities to more than 20,000 young people and adults nationwide.
Each year the APO performs to more than 250,000 people live and over the course of the pandemic, has reached more than 4.3 million viewers globally through livestreams and other digital offerings.
