Kemi Adegoroye is a soul and jazz-inspired singer-songwriter based in the DC Metro Area. She performs regularly as a solo act and as the frontwoman of DC-based jazz and R&B band Terra Firma the Band at iconic DMV Venues like Union Stage, Jammin Java, Mr. Henry’s, WPFW 89.3 FM, and WUSA9. Her versatile vocals and vivid storytelling can be heard on her latest R&B and soul-pop singles, In My Corner and those rainy days; her soul-inspired debut EP, For the Record, which earned her a spot as a 2022 Wammie Awards finalist; and Terra Firma the Band’s debut album, Live with Terra Firma.
