The Guardian Night River are very happy to host the legendary Richard Dawson for a special solo show at the gorgeous church at Norton St Philip. One of the most revered and singular artists of our generation, Dawson has over the last 20 years carved a truly unique path, pushing the boundaries of his expansive sonic palette through the worlds of acoustic and acapella folk, exploratory art rock, ambient noise and psychedelia. "A rare & tender sonic wonder" BBC Radio 3 Conrad Clipper is an instrumental ambient composer and multi-instrumentalist who lives and records in Northumberland. His music explores a meditative vein with tentacular pianos, orchestral swells, hazy guitars, modular synth arpeggios and other hidden shapes. He will be making a rare live appearance to open the show. Doors at 7pm, music starts at 8pm. Please be there in good time to ensure a smooth running of the show.
