Jersey legend Kevin Smith showed the world the secrets of life (whether it be in an actual mall, a convenience store, or Red Bank) in his classic films that put the Garden State firmly on the map as a mecca for indie filmmakers. Now get ready to hear from the man himself when he takes center stage again, this time in person, for Jersey Sure. From Clerks to Mallrats to Dogma and beyond, Smith has made a career out of the turning the mundane of everyday life into something hilarious and worth celebrating. And he's used his home state as the perfect palette to paint his now cult classic films. It seems Silent Bob actually has a lot to say. And we can't wait to hear it! There are many people named Kevin Smith, including:
1) The mastermind behind movies like Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, Jersey Girl, and Clerks 2. Kevin Smith is also known for portraying the character "Silent Bob" in almost all of his movies. He also has released An Evening With Kevin Smith, a document of his question-and-answer sessions.
2) Kevin Max Smith, of dc Talk, legally shortened his name to Kevin Max in 1997. Prior to that, some solo songs were credited as Kevin Smith, such as Lonely Moon, from 1994's Strong Hand of Love: A Tribute to Mark Heard.
