Pleased to welcome back His & Hers to Gas Hill Drinking Room on May 4, 2024, with special guests Down The Mountain! Doors at 7 PM, show at 8 PM. Tickets are on sale NOW at TheRamkat.com! His & Hers is a husband and wife fronted folk Americanagrass band from North Carolina. They have released four albums, including “Come On In”, in September 2022 and "Live at The Primavera Roadhouse, Volume 1" in March of 2024. Founded in 2018 in the Piedmont of North Carolina, Down the Mountain is a four-piece Appalachian Rock band with Americana and Traditional Plus roots. In the spirit of Southeastern storytellers, Down the Mountain’s original tunes are full of the tall tales one hears over a bonfire and the kind of love that only happens in a small town. Down the Mountain is best consumed with a cold beer in hand.

Biographie de Down The Mountain Band
Founded in 2018 in the Piedmont of North Carolina, Down the Mountain is a four-piece Appalachian Rock band with Americana and bluegrass roots. In the spirit of Southeastern storytellers, Down the Mountain’s original tunes are full of the tall tales one hears over a bonfire and the kind of love that only happens in a small town. Down the Mountain is best consumed with a cold beer in hand.
Justin Thompson’s rollicking guitar and soulful voice lead the sound of Down the Mountain. Playing both an electric and upright bass, Jordan Fariss’ deep resonant sound perfectly balances the high lonesome banjo picking from Kenny Orsillo. As a former Metal drummer, Nate Brown brings both a powerful force of a full drum set as well as the lively, rambunctious sound of the Cajon.
Down the Mountain proudly featured touring musician Bethany Fox on the fiddle.
Since 2020, Down the Mountain has collaborated with North Carolina folk duo His & Hers and warmly welcomed returning tour musician Danny Smith (electric guitar, keys) for the 2022 tour.
