Biographie de Tundra
Bury St Edmunds trio Tundra have learned to take their time. After releasing their debut EP in 2018 (Life’s A Beach) - an attempt to capitalise on winning the 2017 burySOUND competition - they realised a breath was needed.
Having been a rhythm section since childhood, Elliot (vocals/bass) and Elliott (drums) finally joined forces with Caitilin (vocals/guitar), and soon spent a stint performing covers around their hometown. Their ambition not to be damned, during 2020’s pandemic, the three of them took a breather and focused on their next steps. The resulting EP - The Sunshine Cafe - is a testament to their drive and determination.
A five-track helping that radiates embracing and spiking pop melodies while soundtracking their most personal insights, the scuzzy sounds of Life’s A Beach are reigned in. Instead, they’re focusing on expanding larger than life moments under a conceptual umbrella of the titular establishment. Tundra are here to offer excitement and understanding, and with a raucous live show to boot, the trio’s drive is finally finding its deserved success.
