Dark Daze have announced the release of their brand new single “Throw Your Roses” on the 15th of March accompanied by a debut video from the band and infamous filmographer Conor Mercury on the 22nd. Throw Your Roses is the third single from their upcoming EP with a release date and Aus tour yet TBA.Singer Jarrad Lee Jackson states that the song lyrically is about watching the people you have hurt throw roses viciously on your grave whilst being buried under the weight of your own actions, but feeling nothing but love and admiration towards every deserving tear of anger spiraling towards your own epitaph.Recorded at Interim Studios with Jarrad Lee Jackon in the producer's chair the song is dramatically doused in haunting chorus and reverb fx which sets the drab tone instantly, think DIIV, think The Horrors. Dark Daze may be hitting the heart strings lyrically but Throw Your Roses is unapologetically high energy, keeping true to their post punk/indie colors.
