We have been following the music of Joe Jencks for many years, beginning when we first saw him when he was with Brother Sun (at Circle of Friends) in MA. Then later around MA solo and now in Texas. He is such a scholar of music, has such an extraordinarily beautiful rich voice, has so much kindness, and is deeply thoughtful about creating a world that is for all people. We were able to hear him two nights in a row…wow. Thank you Joe Jencks for all you do! You make a difference.

“Climb inside the songs of Joe Jencks, and you meet real people. His lilting melodies and warm, caramel tenor draw us closer to the stories he tells. Jencks finds the humanness that binds us to the people in his songs!”
- Scott Alarik – Author of Revival and host of Folk Tales, WUMB, Boston, MA
