Biographie de Dougie Poynter
Dougie Poynter (born 30 November, 1987, in Corringham, Essex, England) is the youngest member of the pop group McFly.
His musical career starting in a punk band called Ataiz. In late summer 2003, Universal advertised in the NME (and online) for a drummer and bassist for a new pop-punk act. Dougie successfully applied and became the bass player in McFly along with Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones and Harry Judd.
As well as playing bass, Dougie also sings backing vocals. Since McFly's second album, Dougie has also contributed to the song writing - including his own songs Silence is a Scary Sound (which was performed on their 2005 Wonderland Tour) and Transylvania, which is released as the b-side to their recent single, Star Girl and also appears on their new album, Motion in the Ocean.
