Biographie de Jonah Mutono
Jonah Mutono has been making music for years, but one thing has always been conspicuously missing from his releases: his real name. Going by the pseudonym Kidepo—after the region in Uganda that his ancestors hailed from - he opened the faucet to a steady drip of releases, from his EP Reunion to the single “Be A Man (Get in the Cold Shower)”.
Taking piano lessons from the age of 4 - Jonah’s childhood spread across London, Philadelphia, Kenya, and Uganda. Inspired by mostly classical and religious music, his songs retain hints of the spiritual music Jonah grew up writing. Now the subject is his own experience. Blending R&B, pop, and the singer-songwriter style is Jonah’s music reborn.
