Brought together through chance and happenstance, the boys of Minimum Wage bring to you a wide range of experience and a variety of genres that merge into a blend of toe-tapping and dance happy sets of Rock and Roll that covers decades of great music.
Driven by Rich McLean who keeps the beat steady, Lead Guitar player Cary Preskey weaves the notes of the smooth classics through the warm Bass of Cary Tillman, while Gus Flores, the Canary of the group, keeps the rhythm flowing and the crowds singing along.
• Drummer Rich McLean emerges from a Heavy Metal background. Originally rocking the bass, Rich decided beating the drum kit was a better fit. Making his decision to drop the strings and pick up the sticks, Rich has been pounding away and driving the beats ever since.
• Lead Guitar player Cary Preskey loves nothing more than to string together a set of notes that mesmerize all who are within earshot. Demonstrating a dynamic flow from scale to scale, song to song, Cary has a way of moving up and down the fretboard effortlessly.
• Bass player Cary Tillman has been thumping the heavy strings for years. The patriarch of the group, Cary has more experience in making people dance than the rest of the group combined. Picking up the bass as a young man, Cary’s guitar has become a part of his being and he has no intentions of ever putting it down.
• Lead Vocalist and Rhythm Guitar player Gus Flores brings the tones that pulls the group together. Gus enjoys getting in front of the crowd and pouring it on, singing with a range that allows him to move from old style blues to classic rock and all your favorite dance tunes.
