first time attending the castle theatre, i like these type of shows where the venue is not too big, but big enough to get the job done. i went to see the native howl mainly, i didn't know the other bands, but i stayed for the whole show. i might be biased, but native howl was my favorite. high energy, in your face, metal/bluegrass. they showed up to impress, and did just that!

The Native Howl is an American Thrash Grass band from just north of Detroit, MI. While their musical influences and compositional stylings run the gamut, their primary genre “Thrash Grass” combines the aggression and intensity of thrash metal with the precision and melodicism of bluegrass.
