Biographie de Twist
There are a lot of bands or artists named Twist:
1) Twist used to be a female trio from Mexico that was formed at the end of the 1990's. It was aligned by Tabatha (ex-Jeans), Natalia Lafourcade and Pamela. The members were between the ages of 16 and 18 years old. The trio was promoted by TV Azteca, but they did not get the success they were expecting. This led up to the splitting up of the trio, however, they did come out with two singles, "Late mi corazón" (My heart's beating) and "Hello, hello". There were rummors saying that one of the reasons why the band broke up was because Natalia did not like the fact that they would be just dancing and lip syncing up on the stage; she was more interested on playing the guitar and singing live.
2) Twist from Alphen aan den Rijn in the Netherlands, a young band with five members:
Daan Scherpenzeel (vocals, 16)
Remco Snijders (guitar, 16)
Boris Egberts (bass, 18)
Tijn Sinke (keys, 16)
Casper Zaalberg (drums, 17)
They made one demo in Leiden, Netherlands which contains three songs: Sex for free, Based on and Since the age of twelve.
3) a female-led grunge four-piece from Birmingham, UK.
