A bedroom musician in New York, Comaratta explores this colorless, tasteless infinity through his hypnotic space beats. Influenced by innovators such as Aphex Twin, Four Tet, and Air, the Space Wanderer’s set moves from one end of the universe to the other without missing a beat in between. His debut release (due out NOVEMBER 13th), THE PLAYBOY EP, is a testament to this experiment in sound across the infinite frontier. A collection of sharp samples and dreamy synths, Playboy floats across the weightless sea of outwardness, at times rising up with reverb soaked melodies while also sinking like stones to the deep basslines hovering above the dancefloor. Each performance by the Space Wanderer is simply another flight to the extremes of our galaxy, flinging the audience across vibrations and genres with each distinctly crafted synth and snare.
