Biographie de NoFace

Originally formed as Sic-end in 2003 by Guy Del Hierro, Louie Santillia, and Geno Salazar. The trio had began working on a 3 song EP containing the tracks Take, High Society and a rough cut of what would become the song Sic-end. In search of a bass player Guy had contacted Ron Dante whom he had played with in the band Sic Theory. Ron joined the band and brought a missing piece to the groups musical constructs. Louie departed the band shortly after Ron had joined, he was in search of some new projects. You can currently find him in the band Fear the Calm. After the departure of Louie, the band found Travis Keever online, and tried him out. After a quick tryout rehearsal it was clear that Travis was a perfect fit for the bad. The foursome had great writing chemistry and began their journey into the music scene. Noface hit the local Denver scene hard. They quickly started getting headlining gigs at local hot spot venues and shared the stage with some of the best bands at the time. By 2005 they had released their full length album, Shadows of Society and had gained the respect of their peers and from a few producers in the industry. Briefly well known local guitarist Joel Karschner joined the group as a 2nd guitarist. He left the band after one performance to further his career with other musical interests. Tension in the band began to build after the height of their success and the founding members had a fall out. Guy and Geno had moved to the mountain town of Steamboat Springs where they kept the Noface name alive by adding Jason Miers and Chris Behne to the band. Although the band continued to play, the success was not the same and Noface had gone on a hiatus and was thought to be a dead project. The original four members had began talking of bringing the act back, as they always had a place in their musical soul for what they created together, thus bringing about a couple comeback performances in 2009. Presently Noface is going to resume playing a few rare performances so be on the look out for upcoming shows. Formed in 2003 Noface hit the Denver scene hard with a combination of angsty nu-metal and hard hitting metal.
