KALMAH is one of the pioneers of Finnish melodic death metal and still going strong after 21 years of existence. Their latest 8th album was realeased in April 2018 entitled "Palo" which hit the number one position in Finnish album charts and stayed there for 3 weeks. The album has been received very well with critics and fans all over the world. At the beginning of 2019 Kalmah can be seen for the second time at the 70 000 tons of metal cruise. Kalmah toured Canada 3 times already with several sold out shows on all tours, incl. Quebec City, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Rouyn, etc. Kalmah has never toured in the USA before and fans have been pouring to Canadian gigs before in large amounts. Due to overwhelming demand, the band is finally giving the fans what they want and deserve, the first USA tour.

VREID, who is the successor of legendary Norwegian Pagan Metal band Windir, have released 8 albums since their start in 2004. Their latest album “Lifehunger" have received massive critics, and it's deemed to be the band's biggest success. Vreid have done more than 500 shows in 25 countries and is known for their intense live shows. In Autumn 2018, they toured Scandinavia & Europe with bands like Enslaved and Kalmah. The tours were very well attended, and included several sold out shows in cities like Budapest, Oslo, Aalborg etc. At this point, Vreid is ready for their first North American tour in 6 years. The tour will be part of a massive promo campaign from Season of Mist, and Vreid will also tour Europe and Asia during 2019.

Biographie de Kalmah
Kalmah is a band from Pudasjärvi, Finland. They are influenced by a high velocity brand of European Melodic Death Metal similar to that of metal bands like At The Gates and Dark Tranquillity. The quintet formed in the autumn of 1999 following the demise of its first incarnation, Ancestor. In less than a year after its birth, Kalmah was signed by Spikefarm Records, a division of the Finnish label Spinefarm. In the fall of 2000, the band recorded its debut album for the label at Tico-Tico studios, a favourite of fellow countrymen Sentenced and Impaled Nazarene. The result, Swamplord, is an aggressive, twin guitar solo-based album whose atmosphere is often heightened by ethereal keyboards. Century Media Records picked up Swamplord for North American distribution, and the record was released in 2001.
After that, Kalmah released "They will return" (2002), "Swampsong" (2003) and "The black waltz" (2006). On the "The black waltz" the music is quite different of the previous Kalmah records - the vocals are much deeper (a lot of growling vocals on this album) and the music is more influenced by Gothenburg style than the previous albums.
Kalmah is about to release their new album due April 2nd, 2008 under the title "For The Revolution".
The band took their name from the Karelian language and could be translated as "to the grave" "to the end" or "to the death".
