Madelyn Paquette Music

Madelyn fell in love with guitar, piano and the craft of songwriting at age ten; won songwriting competitions including The American Songwriting Awards (ASA) by fifteen; earned distinguished awards from the National YoungArts Foundation by 17; and was selected as a 2018 Presidential Scholar in the Arts Finalist by 18. In lyrics clever and mature beyond her years, Madelyn captures stories of love and friendship, heartbreak and vulnerability, nostalgia and new beginnings, and female empowerment. Her memorable hooks are often “stuck” in listeners’ heads after a performance.   
Born in suburban Massachusetts, Madelyn has studied pop vocal technique since 2013 and continues to develop skills in voice and pop arrangement. Over the last few years she has taken impressive steps towards creative autonomy, including in production and audio engineering. Madelyn performs regularly at venues in the Massachusetts area including Boston’s famous Faneuil Hall Marketplace, The Precinct, the Berklee Performance Center and Café 939, and has performed at Miami’s New World Symphony. Now based in New York, Madelyn infuses the city with her country-pop sound, playing at loved venues such as Arlene's Grocery and The Cutting Room. Currently, Madelyn studies at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music in the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.
