Biographie de Adrienne Kelly
Adrienne Kelly is a believer in Jesus Christ, wife, mother, singer/songwriter, and gospel artist born and raised in Oakland, CA by her loving parents Edna Walker,
Malcom Walker, and grandmother Frances Mack. Adrienne's freshman album "For the Brokenhearted" includes 9 original songs and one acoustic cover of the classic choir song "I Shall Wear A Crown” by Thomas Whitfield in honor of her grandmother, Frances Mae Mack, who passed away at the age of 92 in Spring 2020. "For the Brokenhearted" was written for anyone that has experienced a broken heart, each song aiming to mend what has been broken through healing, worship, and praise. Appearing on "For the Brokenhearted" is her incredibly talented daughter and artist Porsche Kelly (aka
The Poetic Activist), the incomparable Doobie Powell, the angelic voice of Regina Chavon, the ridiculously talented Darius James, the poetic
stylings of Eugene "Ace" Johnson, the powerful voice of Madison Copeland, and the incomparable bassist Alan "Snoop" Evans II. Three songs on the album were written from Parris Bowen’s sound pack and dedicated to Parris who passed away in 2021: “You Mean Everything”, “Let Us Go” and “Brand New.” Parris appears on “You Mean Everything” and “Let Us Go” as well as Adrienne’s original song “I Am No Good.” Parris was a friend and brother and is greatly missed.
The Band: Douglas Jones, Jr, (Producer/MD - Keyboards); Alan "Snoop" Evans II (Bass Guitar/Song Arrangement); Thaddaeus Tribbett (Bass Guitar/Lead Guitar); Parris Bowens (Keyboard); Mike Bereal (Organ); James "Jiim" Owens, Jr. (Producer, Drums, Keyboard, Percussion, Mix/Master), Darius James (Acoustic Guitar); Scott Keller (Drums), Aaron Tabor (Lead Guitar).
