Jimmy McDonald

Jimmy McDonald toured the north east as a musician for several years before dropping the guitar and becoming a full on stand up comic. As a comedian, he travels the United States bringing his brand of personal, introspective and self deprecating humor to comedy audiences from coast to coast.

Jimmy was a semi-finalist in “Last Comix Standing” at Mohegan Sun, he won the Hudson Valley’s “Roast-Madness” roast battle tournament and has been featured at premium clubs such as The Improv, The FunnyBone, and Laugh Boston - as well as being a regularly appearing host and feature act at Levity Live in West Nyack, NY. In addition to standup, Jimmy has starred in sketches that have been on Funny or Die!, and has made multiple appearances as a guest on the popular YouTube channel and podcast of Los Angeles based nationally headlining comedian Mike Falzone.

McDonald has quickly grown into one of the most in-demand comics in the Northeast and is well known as a great joke writer, performer and storyteller. He is quickly gaining the reputation of a “must-see” act, and has worked with household names such as Mark Normand, Nate Bargatze, Brody Stevens, Joe Machi, Orny Adams, Jesus Trejo, Aaron Berg, Pete Dominick and more…
