Biographie de Artisfiction

ArtIsFiction first burst onto the scene in 2012 with their aggressive debut, the 'ARTISFICTION EP', featuring the single 'Get Em To The Butchers', in which the track itself and music video received a lot of interest, including a Radio 1 feature and praises from the likes of Steve Forrest (Placebo) & Benji Webbe (Skindred). From the release of the first EP through to late 2013 the band toured non stop, reaching nearly every city in the UK, spreading their name to the pubs, clubs & Academies. The band entered the studio early 2014 and recorded an albums worth of material, 3 of the tracks now collectively making their forthcoming EP 'Common Tongue' which features their newest released single 'What Do You Need?'. The band will be touring later this year! The band have been praised for their endless diversity and eccentric stage performances. Blending an eclectic range of musical colours and conveying a broad pallet of emotions to create some very unique music. REVIEWS: "I really like this band... they're so raw, I'd definitely go to one of their shows, it would be sick!" - Jen Long (BBC Radio 1) "Wow that is different!" - Benji Webbe (Skindred) "It's like being chased by a Rubiks Cube of music... Very interesting sound... A fine band" - Adam Walton (BBC Radio Wales) "The use of multiple melodic instruments is refreshing, it makes a nice change!" - Ebony B (Earache Records) "art.is.fiction are poised to be the most spoke of Welsh band in 2013" - Rhys Stevenson (Global Metal Apocalypse) "A fusion of sounds, interesting and downright entertaining. I'm very excited about their future" - Big Scott (Radio Cardiff 98.7fm) New Single 'What Do You Need?' Out Now! New EP 'Common Tongue' Out 09/08
