The Donkeys were fun and full of amazing energy as always. It was totally worth waiting through two excruciating hours of openers ☺️

A propos de The Donkeys
1.The Donkeys are a delicious blend of folk, alt-country rock, and blues, quite contrary to what their San Diego residence may infer.
2.The Donkeys were also a 1970s British mod group who appeared on the scene at the same time as The Jam, and whose sound and singer are eerily similar. Just check out their 1977 album "Monkey Business" and see for yourself. The members were: Dave Owen - bass, Neil Ferguson - vocals / guitar, Mark Wellham - drums, Tony Ferguson - rhythm guitar / vocals. Their early records were a mixture of 60's Pop harmonies, the '79 New Wave style, The Crooks and Punk. They made five singles: What I Want / Four Letters on Rhesus and Deram Records, 1979. No Way / You Jane on Back Door and Vertigo Records, 1980. Don't Go / Living Legends on MCA Records, 1980 (rerelesed 1981).
Let's Float / Strike Talks on MCA, 1981. Listen To Your Radio / Watched By Everyone as The Donkees on MCA, 1981.
