Show #10 since 2022 for me. They never disappoint great set and as always very different from the shows I saw in January and February in 2024. Feel like I'm seeing an early 70's classic rock/metal band that just started.

Many thanks to the guys for being so kind as to grace us with their talent and being so humble as to set up their gear in our area. The Sound was good and the FUZZ was thick. Most excellent show. Nice to know that there are still rock shows in the area. Band camp is a godsend for a rocker like me trapped in a hip hop land. It’s a nightmare. ‘Twas My lady’s first stoner show REZN and King Buffalo did the job. She’s a fan. Thanks guys travel safe and we hope to see you again here in the Quads. Cheers!

King Buffalo did not disappoint my 3rd time and every show had something new. Don't you love when you can see a band on multiple dates and not get the same exact set everytime. Awesome show! If you’re on the fence about seeing this band, do it! I saw them by accident the first time in 2017. There were about five people at that show yet they played like it was a sold out Madison Square Garden Saturday night. That means they are real. Their songs keep getting better and better. This show was packed and everyone was moving. Go. You won’t regret it. If this app would let me I’d give this show five stars.

Super good as always. A year prior I had seen them at the ritz opening for uncle acid without knowing who they were. They completely blew me away , stole the show, and were very loud so I made sure to remember to bring my earplugs this time haha! I felt like the sound was better at the ritz but it was cool to be up close and see his pedal board and keys being played/manipulated.

What a great show, in a fun, intimate venue (Crowbar in Tampa)! Consummate professionals King Buffalo made it feel like they were performing for a group of friends, interacting with the crowd between songs, and with never a note out of place. And it was lead singer/guitarist Sean McVay's birthday, which made it even more special!

What a killer show by a great band. They took me back to the 90s grunge era when I lived in Seattle, WA, the Kyuss days. Good times, great music scene; thank you! These musicians are so talented; they reminded me a bit of Katatonia and some riffs of good old doom Black Sabbath - if you grew up listening to that like myself -, but overall they have a unique, interesting sound. I enjoyed the show very much, first time seeing these guys live, I'm a fan.

Great show, they’re trying out a lot of stuff and growing, so I like that- with their increasing back catalogue they could put together a killer set list, but chose to add newer stuff (again, not a problem) but I must admit there were a few tunes that I wanted to hear and didn’t—- overall — killer show- their travels in Europe have honed them. The venue was not that great, it’s too narrow, like you’re seeing a band in a wide hallway. Sound was good at the front of house, but horrible in the back

Scott Dan and Sean the King Buffalo. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Nice small venue was up close and awe struck. If you know you know if you stumbled here, check this band out. Well crafted music and and performances. I recommend seeing multiple shows as no to nights are the same. This was the second night of 2 at Club Cafe and my second show [saw opening night at the Grog Shop] The sets are 10 or 11 songs each night and no two days are the same. I got 3 songs that I did not hear in Cleveland. And after checking the setlist for Club Cafe for the previous night. Wow only 3 repeats over the 2 days.[highly recommend back to back shows if they play 2 nights in your city.] They mixed 21 songs into the sets in the first half of the US winter tour.

Vert few bands know how to memorize an audience and keep them captivated throughout the whole show. king Buffalo does this as well as band I've ever seen, and I've seen at least 200 concerts. The acoustics at the Blind Pig was amazing as well as the staff.

As always King Buffalo NEVER disappoints. Played some great tracks from Regenerator. Enjoyed the venue also-well done bar in the front of the house, large patio and an intimate yet accommodating decent sized space for the show. Good acoustics. I got to speak with either a manager or owner closing the night and he was very informative - good guy. Go and see King Buffalo, I have just about every time they come to Chicago (or other places) for many years now - you'll enjoy them. Crowds will surprise you in their variety of ages.

King Buffalo blasted their way through my body and soul like a Godzilla-sized sloth on methamphetamines. "Mein Gott!" they were incredible. And inevitable. My only regret? That I didn't eat the 'shrooms I had considered eating before going to the show. A very small regret. Three thumbs up. Waaaaaay up.

Impressive performance; do not hesitate to buy that ticket. I thought Velvet was a great fit for them; good size, conveniently located, and good opportunities for lighting design and video—which they used well. I was concerned about the sound because the last band I saw there made my head feel like it was banging around in a tin can, but this was an excellent experience.

The guys from Rochester hit that transcendence vibe every time in Houston. I love people watching at its finest at their gigs here. Especially the younger woman that may be or may not be on psychedelics, while riding that unique Buffalo groove!

They sounded just as incredible live at they do on the albums! They are incredible musicians to watch live. All 3 of them were happy to talk to, take pics with and sign merch for their fans. The crowd had a great vibe, full of friendly and passionate fans all sharing the experience of seeing a great band perform their craft. You have any doubts about seeing them live don't hesitate. Buy your ticket and go! I can't wait to see them again in LA in November!

Musikalisch gesehen wurden unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt, aber man gewann den Eindruck, als wolle die Band möglichst schnell fertig werden. Nach ca. 75 Minuten gab es eine kurze Zugabe. Die einzelnen Bandmitglieder wurden nicht vorgestellt und es gab keine Verabschiedung des Publikums am Ende des Konzertes. Die Location ist neu und wirklich gut.

Amazing gig. Great support. Finally got to see King Buffalo after hearing them years ago. Totally worth the wait. The sound was fantastic. So many venues struggle with the sound of the vocals but Sean was crystal clear h hats off to the Exchange. First time I've been there great venue I will be back!

I went to the show just to see KB open. They were rad!!! McVay and the boys were on point. He's one of my fav guitarists and vocalists. They sounded exactly like they do on recordings which is super impressive because they use a ton of effects and have a highly intricate style with lots of rigid syncopation. TRANSLATION: They are a super fun band for everyone to jam out with!! So everyone should go see 'em!!

King Buffalo was great as always. This is the third time I've seen them live and they have always exceeded my expectations! These dudes know how to rock, but they also know how to bring their audience along for the ride. If you ever get a chance to see them live, don't pass it up - you'll be missing out on something great!
