★★★★★ One of the best concerts I’ve ever attended. An absolute masterclass in live music. The sound was phenomenal, the bass was something you could feel in your entire body, and the visuals were absolutely mesmerizing. Having 17 musicians sharing the stage made the whole experience feel even more extraordinary. Pure collective euphoria, nostalgia and musical brilliance. One of those rare nights where you’re completely immersed in the moment and never want it to end. Absolutely unforgettable.

Incredible to see all three bands together and the crossover join-ups were amazing. Broken Social Scene stole the show in some ways as Emily was oddly clipped signing on some tracks for the excellent but not incredible Metric set. Biggest problem was the sound. Too much reverb on vocals for much of the night but the sound engineer(s) were out of their depth with the number of instruments on stage (and that's being charitable). Stars & Broken Social Scene sounded like playing in a school hall for much of their sets with muddy mixes and bad mike levels. Still enjoyed it but disappointed with the sound.

I love Metric, and always enjoy them. This last show, however, the sound was horrid; quite distorted and of poor quality. Not the band’s fault at all, but they should be aware and make certain all is well during sound check. This really took away from my enjoyment of Emily and Jame’s music. Something too, I notice is that a portion of the backing music is not live; maybe that is the portion that is highly compressed? And no encore; the crowd is left hanging. I understand they feel they do not have to add a ‘bonus’ section (encore) because they feel their show is ‘complete’, but these are their fans, some of whom have travelled hours to see the show. An encore is a thank you from the band; it is not a bonus.

The band was amazing as expected, and their performance was tight. But... Whoever was in charge of their sound did a horrible job. As a Metric fan, I expected to be rocked by some powerful bass, and to be bathed in a full soundscape, but that bass was overpowering every other aspect of the instruments and vocals, and even the speakers themselves. They sounded as if they were blown. I am not the only one in the audience with this opinion. Several of us discussed this when they were briefly mitigating their technical issue. I got to meet James, Josh, and Joules after the show, and that was terrific. They were so fun to chat with. I wanted to tell them about the sound issue, but hesitated because I didn't want that one moment to be tainted by possibly insulting or annoying them. All in all, I am still grateful to have finally seen them live after being a fan for 15 years.

What a lovely concert -- really enjoyed the different but compatible styles of all 3 acts. Garbage and Noel Gallagher were great. But I will be honest -- I could have just listened to and watched Metric all night and would have been happy :) Somehow Metrkc just hits my sweet spot. Thoughtful but with enough lightheartedness. Grand but real and intimate. Uplifting without being kitchy. And serious musicianship. Dark/heavy and lightness. I was glad for another chance to wallow in the world of Metric and also be introduced to (new to me) Garbage and Noel Gallagher

The band is 5 stars! We have been fans since Fantasies! We have traveled to see them and hope they headline their own tour soon! One issue is the timing of their show. The start was advertised for 7:00 pm and the band was walking in stage at 6:50 pm. Fans still entering and getting refreshments were scrambling in to the amphitheater. Starting last is bad (Madonna, Axel!) but starting early is not fair to fans.

Metric was great but it was a shame they weren't able to perform the reported full set list from other shows in this tour. On the other hand the weather held out for them, and since they were the only artist I was there to see when it started pouring thirty minutes into Noel Gallagher I simply left.

Metric was awesome, the crowd gave them plenty of love even though there was less than half the audience there. If it was just Metric, 5-stars easy, just wish the set was longer. Then Noel Gallagher came out and sucked all the life out of the audience. Wasn't expecting much, but a bougie Jimmy Buffett was soul crushing. Almost left 3 songs in. Garbage finally came out to pull the audience out of cardiac arrest. Definitely cool to see them as it brought me back to my high school days. Metric was still the highlight of the show in the end, long live Emily.

Fillmore style floor, ticketed perimeter seating with bar service. Sound engineer insisted on setting the very bottom frequencies at full force, resulting in bass (bass guitar and drum) shaking the venue. It sounded like the boot decks of a row of 1981 Crown Victorias. Happily I brought earplugs and firing-range ear protection. That allowed me to enjoy Jimmy’s sweet guitars and Emily. Oh Emily. Vocals, synth, and aerobics rich and dazzling! The show was awesome, except for one thing: Too much backlighting on the stage. For much of the show, all we could see was silhouettes and shadows. The floor lights at the back of the stage were aimed right at the balcony, it was like staring into a searchlight. It felt like we were being interrogated by the cops.

I needed the energy of this concert. They are such a good balance of high energy (mostly) and relaxed (just enough). The members are around my age, so it’s been great hearing their new albums and seeing them every year or two when they tour. The long-time fans and Emily had a moment during the acoustic interlude in the middle since the songs were from their early albums. Closing with Breathing Underwater has become a signature too. It’s a great valedictory.

The two bests concerts of my life were Metric in Dallas, 2019 and Metric in Dallas, 2022. They bring so much energy and positivity to the stage. Emily connects with everyone in the audience; she locked eyes with my daughter in the front, pointed at her and said "All right." My daughter is still floating! They sounded amazing. Jimmy played killer, unnecessary but wonderful solos. In 2019 they put "Combat Baby" or "Dead Disco" to an audience vote and "Dead Disco" won. "Combat Baby" is my first and favorite Metric song, so when Jimmy and Emily played an acoustic arrangement of it halfway through the set, I was absolutely thrilled. She performed it with so much joy! My only regret is that I didn't bring my teenage son - NEXT TIME.

Amazing show! The band put on a killer set with a nice mix of songs, although I would have loved to hear Youth without Youth, but we can’t have everything. First time at this venue and it was great. I spent the night right next to the mixing board and the songs were very clear. The balcony is not a great view unless you’re right on the rails.

Ce fut mon 5e spectacle de Metric à vie et de loin ça a été le meilleur. Emily était en feu, ses comparses aussi et la salle tout autant. Définitivement, ils ont bien raison d'affirmer qu'en raison du contexte actuel, ils jouent chaque spectacle comme si c'était le dernier, car c'était le cas! On veut les revoir à Qc et ou au Québec et rapidement! :)

I attended this marvel, last minute, though, not on a whim. Stars collided around me in a way that brought me to the event alone. But, I wasn’t alone. I was there, on-stage with Emily; our Canadian Rock Royal and Last National Treasure, as she sang and twirled, dizzying me and 18,000 friends into a mystic transcendental haze. I will never forget that night in Toronto.

Unbelievably amazing concert! Being a huge fan who really just discovered them and began enjoying the over the past few years, along with watching some videos, I knew they would be excellent. That said, they exceeded my high hopes/expectations. Emily and the boys were all incredible. I’m already looking forward to seeing them again in the future.

Excellent show, wonderful staff at the venue, I had a great time! Nice to see a band like Metric in a smaller venue, their brief acoustic interlude was amazing. Got to meet the band, the venue staff was very prompt, professional and welcoming, and made the experience very enjoyable. And the band was lovely, very down-to-Earth and cool to chat with. It was definitely an evening to remember!

This is my second d time seeing Metric. I was enthralled and vibing the entire time. They know how to reach their people and the entire place was filled with peace. They also played a healthy amount of old and new, even letting us pick an old favorite. Thank you for a great show and thank you for sharing a moment of your life with us.

Emily is always exuberant, and this show was no exception. They sounded great, the venue is ideal for a show where you have to dance, and the new stuff BLEW MY MIND. Dark Saturday live was incredible. Combat Baby has a special place in my heart, and i have only heard her do an a Capella version live; the full band rocking out for it was just so awesome. My only complaint would be people on their phones the whole time. Some girl right in front of us had her brightness all the way up and she was scrolling Facebook and group texting off color jokes. Was pretty distracting. More bands should. Follow Jack White's lead and start banning devices. But this gripe has zero to do with the band.
