Originally from Yorkshire now based in Brighton, Mike has played all over the UK supporting the likes of Jesse Malin, Sam Roberts Band, Guillemots, Laura Veirs and Deadstring Brothers, amongst others. His Americana, folk and rock-tinged songs are well-crafted and his dynamic guitar work is described as so fluid and textured, and so goddamn fast but still so tidy ... a show in its self. Influenced by the likes of John McLaughlin, Neil Young and the Lemonheads, as well as fusing Ska and Punk stylings from the likes of Paul Simon, Toots and the Maytals and The Clash, Mike commands his varied styles with authority and class, mixing each and every one with ease to create an explosive and memorable live show.
