When two angel voices meet, you get Alyssa and Ruby. Their energy is infectious, their chemistry is obvious. These two were born to meet and make the most beautiful harmonies.

A propos de The Sisterhood Band
The Sisterhood are an organic blend of the open melodies of classic West Coast folk and the magnetic swagger of timeless rock n' roll, powered by Alyssa and Ruby's soaring richly textured harmonies and effortless chemistry. Both ladies have strong musical DNA. Alyssa is the daughter of Kathie Baillie & Michael Bonagura (the core of country band Baillie & The Boys) and Ruby's father is rock icon Rod Stewart.
The pair met through a group of musical friends while both working on their solo careers. Immediately bonding over growing up in the music business and sharing a mutual love and idolization of folk goddess Joni Mitchell, it wasn't obvious to them that their friendship should turn professional until they were jamming on some Joni songs backstage after seeing a Rod Stewart gig together. He listened to their glistening harmonies of a song or two and told them "You two should start a band."
After only 9 months of knowing each other, the duo are capturing attention immediately. They've written the theme song for the Stewarts & Hamilton's show on E!, performed at Fashion Week in Milan and Miami, guest performances at Rod Stewart's Vegas show at Caesar's palace, a slot on the main stage at one of Australia's biggest country music festivals, and now they're at the start of a 10 date UK tour opening for Rod Stewart.
Their meeting was happenstance, but the music they create together can only mean that nothing is ever truly coincidence. Voices of sirens, lyrics of poets; these two musical heirs are soul sisters are messengers of the music in their hearts. Two very different worlds colliding with one common thread makes the music they create one of a kind. Fresh sounds, haunting melodies, and signature voices are what set The Sisterhood apart from any other female group in today's popular music.
“We've written and recorded everything in the house I was born in. My dad converted our attic into what we now call Treetop Studios. Ive been learning how to record since I was about 13 years old and actually went to school in Liverpool at Paul McCartney's Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts for sound technology. From the windows in the studio you can see horses running through the plush green fields of Tennessee. Our house was built on civil war territory, and it seems as though the energy of the land has seeped into our music.” - Alyssa
“The music we are forming now is so foreign and unique to anything we have ever done before meeting one another. We don’t believe in generalizations so everything we composed came freely from all of our different influences. We are creating solely for ourselves. Writing lyrics that stemmed from our late night conversations over wine. We are discovering the world through each others eyes and still have so much more to find.” - Ruby
